Energean Israel has completed near-and-onshore pipeline installation for Karish field, Levant basin, offshore Israel. Work to lay the remaining 80 km gas pipeline to connect the 8-bcm/year Energean Power FPSO to Israel has begun. Core installation using the Solitaire pipeline vessel and installation of manifold and subsea isolation valves is expected to be complete by the end of June. Full pipeline installation and pre-commissioning is expected to be complete in this year’s fourth quarter.

Preparation for lifting the FPSO topside modules has begun. Integration and commissioning in Singapore are expected to take about 10 months. Towing to the field, subsequent mooring, hook-up, and commissioning is expected to take another 4 months. An application to return up to 529 workers for the project has been submitted to the Singapore Economic Development Board. A ramp-up in the workforce, currently expected over the course of June, will be dictated by Singaporean authorities.

Karish lies in the Alon C license in 5,700 ft of water. It was discovered in May 2013 by Karish discovery well, drilled to a depth of 15,783 ft encountering 184 ft of net gas pay in high-quality lower Miocene sands with 0.9 tcf confirmed reserves. Karish development plans for three wells tied back to the FPSO.

Energean Israel is operator of Karish with 100% interest.
