TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co. and PGS have begun shooting a multiclient, high-density 3D seismic survey near oil and gas fields in the Jeanne d’Arc basin offshore Newfoundland and Labrador.
The 5,000-sq-km survey, supported by industry funding, covers exploration licenses, significant-discovery licenses, and sections of the open acreage in a bid round closing in November (OGJ Online, Apr. 4, 2019).
The PGS Ramform Atlas will complete data acquisition late in the third quarter.
