HOUSTON, Sept. 10 – Hycarbex-American Energy Inc. began sales from Haseeb field on the Yasin block 2768-7 to Sui Southern Gas Co. in Pakistan.

Production began at 5 MMcfd and is to be increased gradually under extended well test to 15 MMcfd, said American Energy Group Ltd., Westport, Conn., which owns an 18% gross royalty in the block. The working interest is owned by Hycarbex 85%, Hypak Asia (Pvt.) Ltd. 10%, and Government Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. 5%.

Based upon evaluation of the data to be collected from the EWT in the next several months, the working interest owners will evaluate the prospects for more drilling in the Haseeb discovery area with the objective of increasing the production rate well in excess of the 15 MMcfd.
