Mitra Energy Ltd. launched a 3D seismic survey on Block 46/07 off Vietnam.

HOUSTON, Sept. 28 – Mitra Energy Ltd. launched a 3D seismic survey on Block 46/07 off Vietnam.

The CGGVeritas Veritas Voyager seismic vessel will collect 300 sq km of data by late October 2010. Block 46/07 covers 3,281 sq km on the northeastern margin of the Malay-Tho Chu basin.

The vessel just completed shooting 323.7 sq km for Mitra Energy in Block 51.
