Woodside Petroleum (Pty.) Ltd. has awarded Fugro-EMGS a contract for a controlled source electromagnetic survey on Australia’s Northwest Shelf.

HOUSTON, Sept. 22 – Woodside Petroleum (Pty.) Ltd. has awarded Fugro-EMGS a contract for a controlled source electromagnetic survey on Australia’s Northwest Shelf.

The survey, with a contract value of more than $2 million, will be subcontracted to Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA in the 2010 fourth quarter using the BOA Galatea 3D EM vessel. It is the first proprietary contract under the Fugro-EMGS alliance.
