North Dakota: Fort Berthold 3C-3D survey starting

3D Geophysical Inc., Houston, has reached agreement with the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation to conduct a three component 3D seismic survey covering 1000 sq miles of the reservation.  

3D Geophysical Inc., Houston, has reached agreement with the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation to conduct a three component 3D seismic survey covering 1000 sq miles of the reservation.

The survey will be divided into three phases, some of which will be conducted simultaneously. The survey will image the Bakken, Three Forks, and other producing oil formations.

3D Geophysical has begun permitting, and acquisition is set for the fall and winter of 2012.
