Trinity Exploration & Production plc has restored oil production on the Bravo platform in Trintes field, offshore east coast Trinidad.
The company had shut production from the platform following a generator-related fire on Apr. 10 (OGJ Online, Apr. 12, 2023).
Trinity received restart approval from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries Apr. 17, and restored oil production from all previously producing wells on the platform on Apr. 18.
Prior to the fire, oil production from the Bravo platform accounted for about 350 b/d. Total Trintes field production is about 1,010 b/d.
