Production from the Gannet GE-04 well has started through a tie-in to the Triton floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the UK North Sea, said Serica Energy PLC in a Feb. 20 release.

Gannet GE-04 was drilled late in 2022 and completed January 2023. Well results were above pre-drill expectations and initial production rates have exceeded 10,000 bo/d.

Diving support vessel Deep Discoverer mobilized to the Triton area in early February to carry out the subsea tie-in.

The well is 100% owned by Tailwind Mistral Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tailwind Energy Investments Ltd. Serica announced acquisition of Tailwind Energy on Dec. 20, 2022, and completion of the acquisition is expected in March 2023.
