Equinor granted Norwegian Sea drilling permit

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill in production license 1058 in the Norwegian Sea.

Exploration well 6307/1-2 is expected to be drilled by the Deepsea Stavanger semisubmersible drilling rig sometime in August.

Equinor is operator of the license, which lies east of Fenja field, with 60% interest. Harbour Energy Norge AS holds the remaining 40% interest.
