Capricorn Norge AS has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate for well 35/8-7S in the North Sea.
Well 35/8-7S, the first to be drilled in production license 880, will be drilled from the Island Innovator drilling facility about 8 km east of Vega field.
The area in the license consists of part of Block 35/8.
Capricorn Norge AS is operator with 60%. Partner is Edison Norge AS with 40%.
