Andrew Hromyk has been named chief executive officer of Hunter Oil Corp., Vancouver, BC (OGJ Online, June 19, 2018). Hromyk returns to the position from his role as executive chair following the company’s planned closure of its Houston office and the resignation of its Texas-based management team: Al H. Denson, CEO; Rick Powers, CFO; and Mark Strawn, vice-pres.

Effective Oct. 31, the company will close the Houston office and consolidate management functions to the company’s Vancouver headquarters. The company is seeking a CFO candidate and anticipates having an interim CFO in place “in the immediate future,” it said.
