Jericho Oil Corp., Vancouver, BC, along with its Oklahoma STACK joint venture partner, will participate in its second Meramec formation well and two additional Osage formation wells as part of its strategy to delineate and derisk the 16,000 net acre position (OGJ Online, Jan. 24, 2018).

The Valkyrie 6-19N-12W No. 1H (Meramec formation) in Blaine County follows the STACK JV’s completion of the Wardroom 13-19N-13W No. 1H.

In the Osage formation, XTO Energy will drill the Ula 1-31H 6X7 well. It is XTO’s first operated horizontal well in Major County since the STACK play was discovered. Alta Mesa Resources, as operator, will drill its third Osage well, Hilltop 2009 1-19MH, also in Major County.

The STACK JV owns a 24% working interest in the Valkyrie and 1% working interest in each the Ula and Hilltop wells.
