Oil production ceased at Knarr field in the Norwegian North Sea after workers went on strike in a wage dispute, according to Reuters.
SAFE, one of the labor unions in the dispute, said 106 workers went idle on the floating production, storage, and offloading vessel on the field, where Shell is operator.
The field was producing about 23,900 b/d of oil, Reuters said.
The union said the strike would spread to drilling rigs and other platforms off Norway if the dispute wasn’t settled.
