Bausch named Weatherford EVP, CFO

Christoph Bausch has been tapped by Weatherford International PLC as executive vice-president and chief financial officer effective Dec. 13. He joined the company in May as vice-president and controller, product lines. 

Christoph Bausch has been tapped by Weatherford International PLC as executive vice-president and chief financial officer effective Dec. 13. He joined the company in May as vice-president and controller, product lines.

Previous to his tenure at Weatherford, and beginning in May of 2011, he served as executive vice-president and chief financial officer at oil field services firm Archer Ltd.

Before his role at Archer, he served as a global finance director of Transocean Ltd. after a 20-year career with Schlumberger Ltd., where he held senior financial positions in global and regional capacities in the US, the UAE, France, Mexico, Venezuela, and Germany across a number of business segments covering operations, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Bausch will report directly to the chief executive officer. Krishna Shivram was appointed to that role last month on an interim basis following the departure of Bernard J. Duroc-Danner (OGJ Online, Nov. 10, 2016).

Frederico Justus also has been promoted to president, regional operations effective Dec. 13 (OGJ Online, Dec. 16, 2016).
