Krishna Shivram has been named interim chief executive officer of Weatherford International PLC, replacing Bernard J. Duroc-Danner, who has departed the company as CEO, president, and chairman.
Vice-Chairman Robert Rayne will serve as chairman.
Shivram has been chief financial officer and executive vice-president since November 2013.
Duroc-Danner worked with Weatherford and predecessor companies for 30 years.
