Vice-presidents shift, add duties at Plains All American

Mark Gorman, Dan Nerbonne, Phil Smith, and Dwayne Koehn have each either been promoted or assumed additional responsibilities at Plains All American Pipeline LP.

Gorman, currently executive vice-president, operations and engineering, is moving to a new role of executive vice-president in which he’ll serve as a special advisor to the president and chief operating officer, US (OGJ Online, Jan. 15, 2007). He’ll spend time on strategic initiatives and supporting the transition of his current role.

Nerbonne, currently senior vice-president, engineering, has been promoted to executive vice-president, operations and engineering. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for leading the US operations, engineering, land, communications, safety, and environmental groups. He joined Plains in 2005.

Smith, currently vice-president, operations, has been promoted to senior vice-president, operations. He joined Plains in 2002 and has been leading the operations organization since 2008.

Koehn, vice-president, engineering, will be taking on additional responsibilities in leading the entire engineering, integrity, and technical services organizations. He joined Plains in 2005 and has held various engineering roles.
