The authors

Kamarul A. Amminudin ([email protected]) is currently a senior process engineer with Khurais producing department, Saudi Aramco, where he leads the process engineering team of the department. He holds a PhD in process integration from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, UK, and is a registered UK chartered engineer and a fellow of Institution of Chemical Engineers, UK.
Mustafa A. Jubran is a process engineer with Saudi Aramco Khurais producing department. He joined Saudi Aramco in 2007 after earning a chemical engineering degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He is currently pursuing an MSc in oil and gas surface facilities at KFUPM through a joint program with IFP France.
Ali T. Hajji is currently the plant engineer for the Khurais utility system. Previously, he was a plant engineer at the Khurais gas train operation, where he was involved in the process improvement initiative. He joined Saudi Aramco in 2007 after earning a mechanical engineering degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.
Thenyan S. Enezi joined Saudi Aramco in 1996 after completing high school. He served as an operator in Aramco's Uthmaniyah plant before joining the Haradh gas plant in 2002 during its construction and start-up. He became operation supervisor in 2003. In 2008, he joined Khurais's producing department and has held various positions from operation foreman to operations division staff advisor.
Zaid F. Bedoukhi currently heads the unit for Khurais gas processing and shipping. He has extensive experience in the gas plant operation when he has been working with Saudi Aramco's Uthmaniyah gas plant since 1983. He joined Saudi Aramco in 1980 after completing his high school education. In 1992 he completed a general education development program in the US.
Abdulkareem S. Enizi is currently acting as a Khurais producing department operator supervisor in the Khurais gas train. He joined Khurais producing department in 2009 as a DCS operator. Before joining Khurais, he had been working as an operator in Saudi Aramco Haradh and Uthmaniyah gas plants. In 2010, he earned his BSc in information technology and computing.
