Summary

Today, oil and gas businesses are using faster and more agile technology deployments to drive operational efficiencies and minimize risks. As such, many are seeking more effective ways to connect workers with information while ensuring their safety and maintaining cyber security precautions.

One of the most important use cases in oil and gas operations is the connection of workers via wearables and other devices. These tools provide real-time alerts that notify of changes with oil and gas machinery, significantly increasing frontline employee safety and enhancing overall productivity.

In this online seminar, Ericsson—and its partners, RealWear and Pepperl+Fuchs—will explore their experiences when coupling private 5G connectivity with connected worker technologies. Experts will cover the how-to of integrating wearables, IoT devices, and data analytics to create a best-in-class connected worker ecosystem, including lessons learned, key benefits, and real-life examples of successful implementations.
