As a result of the technological improvements , the last 10 years have seen clamp-on meters working on a full range of gas applications. Many non-fiscal applications that were done by orifice, turbine, and ultrasonic meter spools are now going to clamp-on meters. These meters are easy to install, cost effective, and have proven to be highly reliable and accurate. Flexim will share an overview of the technology, show laboratory & field results, plus a range of applications where clamp-on meters are being applied.
This webcast, sponsored by FLEXIM, will address the following questions:
- Can clamp-on measure multi-phase or wet gas?
- Can clamp-on do standard volume flow measurement?
- What are the piping straight run requirements, and how is accuracy impacted when the straight run does not meet the requirements?
Izzy Rivera has been involved with Service, Engineering, and Sales of Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Metering for over 32 years. He has traveled extensively supporting this technology as a field engineer, and has been involved with development; from the early days of inception of clamp-on metering to the vast improvements that now make it possible to measure gas from outside the pipe.
