CHALKLEY DEEP RESERVES PUT AT 570-762 BCF

Another reserves assessment shines a bright light on Chalkley Deep gas-condensate field in Cameron Parish, southwestern Louisiana. Transco Exploration Partners Ltd. (TXP), Houston, on whose West Chalkley prospect the discovery well was drilled, estimated reserves in Oligocene Miogypsinoides at 762 bcf proved, 136 bcf probable, and 24 bcf possible of gas equivalent. This internal estimate includes 10.5 million bbl of condensate, of which TXP's share is estimated to be 1.4 million bbl.
