THAI-VIET GAS PLAN AGREED IN PRINCIPLE

Thailand and Viet Nam have signed an agreement in principle a joint venture to develop and market associated gas from fields off southern Viet Nam. Thai Deputy Minister Vira Susangkarakan secured the agreement with a Vietnamese cabinet minister in a visit to Viet Nam last month.
