Tellurian has launched separate binding open seasons to secure shippers on two proposed pipelines that will connect areas of constrained shale production and debottleneck natural gas pipeline infrastructure, further enabling the rapidly growing industrial market in southwestern Louisiana.

Tellurian subsidiary Haynesville Global Access Pipeline LLC is seeking shippers for a previously announced gas pipeline, the Haynesville Global Access Pipeline (HGAP). The $1-billion, 42-in., 160-mile interstate pipeline will interconnect existing pipeline and production facilities in DeSoto Parish to existing and proposed systems near Gillis in Calcasieu Parish, La. Construction is planned to start in 2022, with an in-service date of mid-2023 when HGAP is expected transport up to 2 bcfd of gas.

Separately, Tellurian subsidiary Delhi Connector Pipeline LLC is seeking shippers for its 42-in., 180-mile proposed Delhi Connector Pipeline (DCPL). The 2-bcfd gas interstate pipeline will connect the Perryville/Delhi Hub in Richland Parish, La., to Gillis, La. At a cost of $1.4 billion, construction is expected to begin as early as 2021 with an in-service date as early as 2023.

Both open seasons run through 4 p.m. on June 21.
