Pembina Pipeline Corp. will build, own, and operate a 200 MMcfd NGL extraction plant and associated NGL and gas gathering pipelines in the Berland area of west central Alberta, the company reported.

Enterprise Products Partners LP reported the start up of operations at a fifth NGL fractionator at its Mont Belvieu, Tex., complex, east of Houston. Initial volumes exceed the unit’s 75,000 b/d nameplate capacity, EPP said.

Encana Corp. and Pembina Pipeline Corp. have signed an agreement under which Pembina will invest about $230 million (Can.) to expand processing and liquids extraction capacities at Encana’s Resthaven natural gas processing plant in west-central Alberta.
