Energy Resource Technology GOM LLC (ERT) has started production from its Green Canyon 237 No. 5 discovery in 2,200 ft of water in Phoenix oil field in the Gulf of Mexico.

A group led by E.On Ruhrgas UK E&P Ltd. has started oil production from Huntington field on Block 22/14b in the UK Central North sea 140 miles northeast of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Production has begun from the first phase of development of Manifa oil field offshore Saudi Arabia and is expected to reach 500,000 b/d by July.

A group led by OMV AG has submitted a declaration of commerciality for Bina Bawi field east of Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

ExxonMobil Corp. reported the start-up of Telok natural gas field offshore Malaysia, production from which will peak at 370 MMcfd, according to earlier disclosures by the company.

State-owned Oil & Gas Development Co. of Pakistan and partners have started production from Sinjhoro natural gas field about 65 km northeast of Hyderabad City, Pakistan (OGJ Online, Sept. 4, 2009).

Eni SPA and state-owned Sonatrach have started production of rich natural gas from Menzel Ledjmet East (MLE) field on Algerian Block 405b, about 1,000 km from Algiers.
