Gazprom cuts off gas to Ukraine over penalty fees


Gazprom began cutting gas supplies to Ukraine Jan. 1 after Ukraine's state energy company Naftogaz failed to pay a $600 million penalty fee and failed to agree to the 2009 gas deliveries price.
