HOUSTON, May 9 -- Alon USA Energy Inc., Dallas, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the 83,100 b/d refinery in Krotz Springs, La., from Valero Energy Corp., San Antonio, for $333 million in cash plus working capital.
The transaction is expected to close in this year's second quarter or early third quarter.
