Filters for pipeline operations
A line of Balston compressed gas filters offers high efficiency coalescing filtration of compressed gas at high flow rates.
Filters are specifically designed to remove suspended liquids and dirt from pipeline natural gas. The housings are ASME code stamped at up to 1,440 psig. The filters are rated at 100% retention of 1 micron liquid droplets and solid particles, with flow rates of up to 183 MMscfd. Final filter grades are also available.
Because the coalesced liquid drains continuously from the filter cartridge as rapidly as it is collected, the filters have an unlimited capacity for liquid removal resulting in extended cartridge life, the firm points out.
Standard features include an automatic float drain, differential pressure indicator, and a set of filter cartridges.
