CNOOC starts production at Bozhong 19-6 Block 5
CNOOC Ltd. started production at the Bozhong 19-6 gas field 13-2 Block 5 well site development project in central Bohai Sea.
The main production infrastructure lies in average water depth of about 23 m and includes a wellhead platform with 10 development wells planned to be commissioned. The project is expected to achieve a peak production of about 5,800 boe/d in 2026.
Bozhong 19-6 is the first condensate gas field with a proved in-place volume of over 200 bcm natural gas that has been put into operation in Bohai Bay (OGJ Online, Nov. 14, 2023).
CNOOC is operator and holds 100% interest in the project.
