Gerry Madore has over 35+ years of experience in Refining & Marketing/Upstream companies in operational and consulting roles working in the USA and Western, Central, Eastern European and ASEAN countries. Gerry has spent over 15+ years in various consulting roles gaining valuable business insights on how to improve business performance and increase profitability and 20 years working in progressively more senior operational(refining/logistics), managerial, & planning roles with downstream companies.

In the last 15+ years Gerry has been in business development and management consulting specializing in the Pipeline Transportation and Refining Industry working with senior executives and management to improve operating and financial performance by delivering solutions incorporating change integration, reengineering business processes, designing and implementing custom and leverage package software installations and performance diagnostics. Clients include the following companies Enbridge Liquid Pipelines (largest and most complex pipeline Transportation Company in the world), MOL (Hungary), Slovnaft (Slovakia), INA (Croatia) & Nynas (Sweden) & Koch Refining (multiple locations).

Gerry has been involved with two major cross-border mergers and acquisitions (the first in Central Eastern Europe) with MOL, Slovnaft and then INA, now all part of MOL Group. This included business process redesign, organizational design, SAP implementation and Supply Chain Management (SCM) development and optimization philosophy rollout.

During previous 20 years Gerry has had direct industry positions in business, technical, project, management and operating roles in petroleum refineries, petrochemical facilities, gas plants, production facilities and pipelines significant experience was gained in the following functional areas: operations and logistics management, production planning and scheduling, production facility startup, total quality management and tech services with Gulf, Sunoco, Sohio Alaska & Dome Petroleum.

Gerry was the senior advisor for the INA Management and Executive Boards in the capacity of improving business practices and executing necessary reforms to enable them to achieve their goal to join the EU by 2012. Within the last 2.5 years Gerry was promoted to the Director of SCM Sector with economic performance responsibility for the R&M Division. In this role the SCM Sector expanded & trained personnel, implemented projects like Orion & XPIMS for multiple refineries and restructured the SCM organization.

Most recently Gerry was the Lead BA and Project advisor for a major transformation at Enbridge Liquid Pipelines including hiring and leading the business analysts area, coordinating with business leaders and client SME’s, cross project issues and development, Use Case elaboration using EA Sparx, presentations to business leaders on project progress, advising senior Enbridge leadership on organizational design, optimization and planning and scheduling solutions.

Gerry has obtained the following credentials,

* BSc in Chemical & Petroleum Refining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines

* MBA specializing in operations and strategy from the University of Michigan

* Certified Instructor for the Quality Education System (QES) by Crosby Associates and has performed numerous training/facilitation roles for new consultants/client workshops

* MOL Group Alliance Manager for the AspenTech Energy Advisory Board – A Global Industry forum to develop solutions collaborating with AspenTech

* Honeywell Users Group Steering Committee Member 2005 - 2007 (3-year term)
