American Energy Partners LP has hired Jeffrey L. Mobley to serve as senior vice-president, major acquisitions. He will oversee the company's oil and gas hedging program as well as acquisition initiatives for large transactions. Mobley previously worked alongside American Energy founder Aubrey McClendon at Chesapeake Energy Corp., where he served as senior vice-president, investor relations and research, and McClendon was chief executive officer. Mobley began his career in the energy sector with Enron Capital & Trade Resources and gained experience working in equity research for Raymond James & Associates and in investment banking for Prudential Securities.

Agosta

Also joining American Energy is Jeffrey A. Agosta. Agosta was hired to serve as chief financial officer of subsidiary American Energy-Utica LLC. He previously served as chief financial officer of Devon Energy Corp. from 2010 to January 2014. Prior to his role as chief financial officer, Agosta held various positions of increasing responsibility at Devon. He began his career with KPMG and was a manager with the financial consulting firm D. R. Payne & Associates.
