REGULATORS FOR 1∕2-2 IN. SYSTEMS

New RHPS series regulators offer accurate pressure control of 0-5,800 psig (0-400 bar) in gas and liquid systems, 1∕2 to 2 in. sizes.

RS and RSH models use either a spring-loaded diaphragm or piston as the sensing element, depending on the outlet pressure range desired.

The RS is available with a choice of six outlet ranges; from 0-43 psig (0-3 bar) up to-5,075 psig (0-350 bar). The RSH model is available with a choice of nine outlet ranges; from 0-43 psig (0-3 bar) up to 0-10,150 psig (0-700 bar).

The LPRS model regulator, with larger diaphragm, offers tight control of low pressures spanning 1.5-43 psig (0.1-3 bar), suiting it for applications requiring a second regulator for two-stage reduction of pressure. Temperature range for all models is –4° to +176° F. (–20° to +80°C.).

Standard material of construction for regulator body and spring housing is 316L stainless steel. Seal, O-ring, seat, and diaphragm material choices are nitrile, ethylene propylene, PTFE, and fluorocarbon FKM. Seat material choices also include PCTFE and PEEK.

End connection sizes and types are 1∕2 through 2 in. NPT or BSPP pipe thread, and ANSI or DIN pipe flanges. A 1∕4 in. female NPT gauge connection is standard on all regulator models. Standard handle is molded and ribbed ABS. Other gauge connection patterns and antitamper handle are available as options.

COMPACT MOTOR STARTER

New to a family of explosionproof motor control enclosures is a decreased foot-print combination starter with modular, interchangeable trip blocks.

Using Houston-based Moeller Electric Corp.'s PKZ2 plug-in trip modules, the firm can now provide a smaller, universal enclosure for Size 0 through Size 3 explosionproof combination starter requirements.

Using one frame size to control and protect motors up to 30 hp @ 480 v or 25 hp @ 600 v, the explosionproof combination motor starter provides a universal enclosure and starter assembly for Size 0 through Size 3 applications. The universal trip modules allow the enclosure size to be decreased, creating a more compact and lighter weight assembly. Eleven different plug-in modules range from fractional to 30 hp. Exchanging trip modules does not require tools and will not require rewiring, the company points out.
