Enterprise version 8 incorporates liquid measurement and gas measurement in a single consolidated system.

The addition of liquid measurement functionality to Enterprise automates the validation process for batch and ticketing in an Enterprise-level liquid application. This advanced liquid system allows importing and storage of hourly data as well as reporting batch totals, validating data on import and edit, scheduling batches and applying up-to-date liquid analysis while maintaining an audit trail that meets API 21.2 requirements.

Features of version 8 include the addition of an extended analysis (handling over 200 components) plus the ability to edit liquid data at an hourly, daily, monthly, or batch level basis. The systems function has been added to combine numerous measurement areas into a single database. This consolidation allows users to create multiple secure environments with independent configuration in the same database. Additionally, the combined gas and liquid functionality enables users to perform a complete and comprehensive system balance.

Multiple point simulation integrated in module

The 3D multiple point statistics simulation module founded on Geneva-based Ephesia Consult SA's IMPALA algorithm has been integrated in the latest version of the SKUA reservoir module.

This simulation module complements the selection of geostatistical and analytical capabilities of SKUA and leverages the stratigraphically consistent geological grids made possible by the patented UVT transform. Some of the benefits of this new-generation facies modeling solution include:

• Enhanced memory usage.

• Performance enhancements through the efficient use of multiple processors.

• Direct operations on SKUA grids for more accurate facies modeling.

IMPALA is a complementary addition to this firm's current suite of algorithms, providing users the flexibility and choices to construct geologically realistic reservoir models.

The firm says that SKUA—with IMPALA's multiple point simulation—enables a reliable and accurate description of the subsurface. Both technologies take advantage of the multicore processing units available on today's Window of Linux desktops.
