New offshore hazardous location LED lighting
New additions to this firm's Magnalight line of offshore LED lighting for hazardous locations include the stainless steel HALSS-48-2L-LED and the HALP-48-2L-LED with a corrosion resistant polyester fiber glass blend housing.
The company also is offering the new HALSS-TRN-400WMH for corrosive, marine, and offshore hazardous location environments.
These hazardous location LED lights feature UL certifications for Class 1 Division 2 areas and include noncorrosive, stainless steel, and fiberglass reinforced polyester blend housings that encapsulate 50,000 life hr LED bulbs.
The firm offers 4 ft and 2 ft versions of these UL rated Class 1 Division 2 offshore environments.

Brochure discusses offshore shutdown valve
A new brochure discusses features of the autonomous shutdown valve (ASV) that provides operators of catenary anchored leg mooring buoy systems and similar onshore loading and offloading facilities with a solution to help reduce operating costs, while increasing process reliability and environmental protection.
Consisting of a subsea spring-return actuator, control system, and pipeline end manifold (PLEM) valve, the standard ASV system automatically opens the PLEM valve on start of inventory pumping and closes it either on completion of pumping or in the event of a line break condition. Fully autonomous and self-contained, the ASV requires no human interventions or dedicated external power sources, and it is designed to operate for a minimum of 5 years before requiring battery replacement.

New software helps simplify EHS compliance
An updated version of opsIncident software is designed to help organizations streamline compliance with US and international environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations while also reducing their operational risks and costs.
Built on the opsInfo platform, opsIncident supports compliance with US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 300, 300A, and 301 regulations, as well as ISO 18001 standards, and it can be configured to meet other mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements. The software lets users communicate EHS information within a single facility, across business units or enterprise-wide.
In addition, opsIncident is built using Flexible Forms v2.0, a new plug-in for the opsInfo platform that enables organizations to provide a user interface that replicates the look and feel of existing manual forms.
