London, has appointed Chris Harding executive vice-president, Americas. He directs all business activities of GL Noble Denton in the US and Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago. Previously, Harding was head of global business streams for GL Noble Denton. He has over 30 years of oil and gas experience in a variety of international engineering, project management, and business development roles.

Subsea 7 Inc.,

Georgetown, Cayman Islands, has received the 2010 Pipeline Industries Guild award for subsea pipeline technology. The award recognizes Subsea 7 for its design, manufacture, testing, and operation of a new deepwater diverless pipeline repair system. The system was used to repair a damaged 12-in. water injection pipeline in 1,350 m of water in Girassol field operated by Total SA off Angola.
