GE Oil & Gas,

Florence, Italy, has appointed Michael Bellamy general manager of GE Oil & Gas's PII Pipeline Solutions business. He replaces John Bucci, who is retiring after 34 years of service to GE. Bellamy has served the last 6 years as general manager of marketing communications for GE Oil & Gas. He first joined GE through the acquisition of PII in 2002. Bellamy will relocate to PII's headquarters in Cramlington, Northumberland, UK.

RigNet Inc.,

Houston, has opened a service center in Williamsport, Pa., under the management of RigNet's onshore area manager, Ricky Begnaud. The Williamsport center brings RigNet's remote communication solutions to the Marcellus shale region and enables RigNet to provide a higher service level to its clients in the Pennsylvania area.

KBC Advanced Technologies PLC,

London, has signed an exclusive, multiyear reseller agreement with Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd. to resell its Petro-SIM and KBC SIM reactor simulation models within the territory of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States countries. The simulation software is used in oil and gas upstream, midstream, and downstream markets.

Hyperion is a leading independent provider of systems engineering solutions and services to the process industries.

KBC consultants provide independent advice and expertise to enable leading companies in the global energy business and other processing industries to manage risk while maximizing value from their assets.

Honeywell Process Solutions,

Morris Township, NJ, has signed a global 5-year global framework agreement to be a main automation contractor (MAC) for Royal Dutch Shell PLC. The agreement is part of Shell's long-term MAC strategy to maximize production while lowering total operating costs by equipping its worldwide facilities with integrated process automation technology. As a MAC, Honeywell will design automation and safety systems that will help Shell meet its customers' energy demands in economically and environmentally responsible ways.
