Abu Dhabi Co. for Onshore Petroleum Operations Ltd. (ADCO) has let a $344-million contract to China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp. for engineering, procurement, and construction work for the further development of onshore Mender field in Abu Dhabi (OGJ Online, Mar. 11, 2015).
The contract covers the construction of gathering stations, pipelines, power transmission lines, and sewage systems.
Mender, with a production capacity of 20,000 b/d, is part of ADCO’s South-East Abu Dhabi Asset, which also includes Asab, Sahil, Shah, and Qusahwira fields (OGJ Online, May 4, 2010).
