Norway’s oil, natural gas liquids, and condensate production averaged 1.916 million b/d in December, about 2% less than November.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate reported that the preliminary liquids total included 1.441 million b/d of oil, 352,000 b/d of NGL, and 123,000 b/d of condensate.

The oil production component was 6% below the NPD’s prognosis for December and 7% below the previous December.

NPD said production from the Brynhild field started in December, but several other fields had reduced production due to technical problems. They are: Balder, Draugen, Ekofisk, Fram, Fram H-Nord, Gullfaks Sor, Oseberg Sor, Skuld, Ula, and Visund.

Final production figures for November included 1.488 million b/d of oil and 474,000 b/d of NGLs and condensate (OGJ Online, Dec. 17, 2014).

Total gas sales in December were about 11.1 billion standard cu m. November’s final number was 10.2 billion standard cu m.
