American Energy Appalachia makes executive appointments

Jeffrey A. Fisher has been named chief executive officer of the newly formed American Energy Appalachia Holdings LLC (AEA), a unit of American Energy Partners LP (AEP).

Jeffrey A. Fisher has been named chief executive officer of the newly formed American Energy Appalachia Holdings LLC (AEA), a unit of American Energy Partners LP (AEP).

John K. Reinhart assumes the role of chief operating officer. Aubrey K. McClendon will continue as AEA’s chairman.

AEA is the result of the combining of American Energy–Utica LLC with American Energy–Marcellus LLC (OGJ Online, Jan. 8, 2015).

Fisher served as chief operating officer of AEP since joining the company in November 2013. Before joining AEP, Fisher was executive vice-president, production, of Chesapeake Energy Corp., where he was responsible for upstream operations and integrated field development.

Reinhart also comes from Chesapeake, serving 8 years in various positions, most recently as senior vice-president, operations and technical services in 2013-14.
