Norway production declined in November, NPD says

Norway’s liquids production averaged 1.939 million b/d in November, about 1% less than October, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate reported.

Norway’s liquids production averaged 1.939 million b/d in November, about 1% less than October, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate reported.

The preliminary liquids total included 1.467 million b/d of oil, 351,000 b/d of natural gas liquids, and 121,000 b/d of condensate.

Oil production was 5% below NPD’s estimates for November and 5% below those for November 2013.

NPD said technical problems reduced production in Fram H-Nord, Gullfaks Sor, Oseberg Sor, Skarv, Skuld, Ula, and Visund fields.

So far this year, oil production is about 1% above NPD’s forecast, and about 2% higher than the same period in 2013.

Total gas sales in November were about 10.2 billion standard cu m, compared with 10.5 bscm for October.

Final production numbers for October included 1.528 million b/d of oil and 430,000 b/d of NGLs and condensate.
