Lundin Norway appoints managing director

Swedish independent Lundin Petroleum AB reported that Kristin Faerovik has been named managing director of Lundin Norway AS in April 2015. Faerovik will succeed Torstein Sanness, who will retire from that position and assume the role of chairman of Lundin Norway.

Swedish independent Lundin Petroleum AB reported that Kristin Faerovik has been named managing director of Lundin Norway AS in April 2015. Faerovik will succeed Torstein Sanness, who will retire from that position and assume the role of chairman of Lundin Norway.

Faerovik previously served as managing director of Rosenberg WorleyParsons AS, the Norwegian arm of the multinational energy and resource engineering firm. She also has served as managing director of Marathon Petroleum Co. (Norway), responsible for the development of Alvheim field, as well as holding several positions within BP PLC in Norway and internationally.

Faerovik served as a Lundin Petroleum board member from 2011 until 2013.
