The New York Mercantile Exchange July crude oil contract price was up 18¢, closing at $102.66/bbl on June 6. The August contract gained 13¢ to $101.94/bbl.
The natural gas contract for July edged up less than a penny to a rounded $4.71/MMbtu. On the US cash market, gas at Henry Hub, La., was $4.65/MMbtu, rising 1¢.
Heating oil for July delivery decreased just less than a cent to a rounded $2.87/gal. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for July delivery declined 1.73¢ to a rounded $2.94/gal.
The July ICE contract for Brent crude delivery fell 18¢, closing at $108.61/bbl. The August contract dropped 25¢ to $107.86/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for June edged up 25¢ to $884/tonne.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of 12 benchmark crudes was not listed for June 6. The June 5 price stood at $104.73/bbl.
