Denbury Resources Inc., Plano, Tex., has named Brad Kerr as senior vice-president, planning, technology, CO2 supply, and pipelines. He succeeds Charlie Gibson, who has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice-president, production operations.
Kerr, who has 31 years of industry experience in various roles at Royal Dutch Shell PLC and ExxonMobil Corp., will oversee Denbury's long-range development plan, CO2 supply, and pipeline operations, as well as methods of leveraging new technologies to increase the value of the company’s assets, Denbury said.
Gibson will oversee the company’s hydrocarbon producing assets, with a focus on implementing various operational improvement initiatives and best practices across the company's operating regions.
