New Zealand Energy names chief executive officer of New Zealand business

New Zealand Energy Corp. has appointed David Robinson as chief executive officer of the company's New Zealand business, effective May 19. He will also join the company’s board, effective Mar. 31. 

New Zealand Energy Corp. has appointed David Robinson as chief executive officer of the company's New Zealand business, effective May 19. He will also join the company’s board, effective Mar. 31.

Robinson has been chief executive officer of the Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand (PEPANZ) since December 2012.

Prior to joining PEPANZ, Robinson was commercial general manager for Z Energy, a director of Shell New Zealand, and served in numerous senior downstream commercial positions with Shell in New Zealand and overseas.

"David will be on the ground in New Zealand, overseeing day-to-day operations of NZEC's assets and building on the strategic relationships that we have developed with our community partners and industry leaders,” said John Proust, chief executive officer and director of NZEC.
