MARKET WATCH: Crude oil futures finish week higher

The New York Mercantile Exchange March crude contract jumped $2.04 on Feb. 7, closing at $99.88/bbl. The April contract climbed $2.03 to settle at $99.35/bbl.

Heating oil for March delivery rose 5.52¢ to a rounded $3.05/gal. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for March delivery gained 6.59¢ to a rounded $2.75/gal.

The March natural gas contract on NYMEX declined 15.6¢ to a rounded $4.78/MMbtu. On the US spot market, the gas price at Henry Hub, La. was a rounded $6.18/MMbtu, falling $1.42.

In London, the March ICE contract for Brent crude delivery increased $2.38, closing at $109.57/bbl, while the April contract was up $2.25 to 108.85/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for February gained $12.75 to $919/tonne.

The Organizational of Petroleum Exporting Countries reported its basket of 12 benchmark crudes was $104.41/bbl on Feb. 7, climbing $1.07.
