TGS-Nopec Geophysical Co. will shoot a 3D multiclient seismic survey covering 161.5 sq miles in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, and Hemphill County, Tex., in the Anadarko basin in late 2013.

The Rush Creek survey will build on an existing 62 sq miles of 3D data TGS recently purchased. Once the volumes are merged, the Rush Creek survey will total 210 sq miles and illuminate subsurface targets in the Granite Wash, Hogshooter, Cleveland sands, Atoka, and Tonkawa geological trends.

Acquisition will begin late fourth quarter 2013 utilizing a high channel count Vibroseis crew. TGS-Nopec will handle processing and make final data available in second-quarter 2014.
