Tunisia: Dualex drilling Abiod wildcat on Bouhajla permit

DualEx Energy International Inc., Calgary, has set 13-3/8-in. surface casing at 807 m at the company’s BHN-1 exploratory well on the Bouhajla permit in Tunisia and has begun drilling the planned 12¼-in. hole.

Spudded on June 8, the BHN-1 well is the first exploratory well on the Bouhajla permit. It is to be drilled to a total depth of 2,545 m to evaluate a Cretaceous Abiod oil target known as the Bouhajla North prospect. Drilling time to TD is estimated at 4-6 weeks.
