Tesoro Corp. stopped running crude at its 93,700-b/cd Hawaii refinery on Apr. 30.

The company announced the closure in January after a year-long effort to sell the refinery, which is at Kapolei about 20 miles west of Honolulu, failed (OGJ Online, Jan. 9, 2013).

Tesoro said it will maintain the distribution system to support marketing operations and fulfill commitments while continuing to try to sell the assets.
