RWE Dea will farm into parts of three blocks covered by two licenses in the West of Shetland area offshore the UK and participate in the drilling of a prospect called Handcross.

RWE Dea will farm into parts of three blocks covered by two licenses in the West of Shetland area offshore the UK and participate in the drilling of a prospect called Handcross.

The company signed an agreement with operator Valiant Causeway to acquire 20% interests in parts of Blocks 204/14c and 204/19c (License P1832) and Block 204/18b (P1631).

Handcross is a Paleocene prospect in the Judd basin.

After the farmin, which is subject to government approval, interests will be Valiant Causeway 70%, RWE Dea 20%, and Sussex Energy 10%.
