    Jim Hand has joined Laricina Energy Ltd., a private oil-sands producer based in Calgary, as senior vice-president and chief operating officer.

    Jim Hand has joined Laricina Energy Ltd., a private oil-sands producer based in Calgary, as senior vice-president and chief operating officer.

    He previously was vice-president, oil sands operations, at ConocoPhillips Canada.
