Eni SPA and Rosneft have signed an agreement to develop opportunities in trading and logistics.
“The aim of the agreement is to develop synergies between the companies’ respective logistic infrastructure networks, extracting additional value from their own equity crude portfolios and refined products production,” the companies said in a joint press release.
They said the agreement will help secure market access for Rosneft oil production and strengthen Eni Trading & Shipping in the European market.
The companies last year signed an agreement covering joint exploration in the Barents and Black seas offshore Russia (OGJ Online, Apr. 25, 2012).
